Energy, not productivity

After a good night's sleep you wake up full. Every hour spends some of it. By evening you're running on what's left β€” less patient, less tender, more blunt. Not a worse person. A drained one.

This makes that visible: one number, reported by you, that the people close to you can see before they knock.

How the charge is counted

A day starts at 100% of a chosen capacity β€” 16 hours by default.

Three things drain it:

  • The day itself β€” with Auto-Day on, the charge starts falling at the set wake time, whether or not anyone opens the app.
  • The timer β€” Start and Stop mark when the spending happens. With Auto-Day off, this is the only thing the clock listens to.
  • Events β€” some things cost more than the clock says. A bad night's sleep is βˆ’15% before the day even starts; a difficult conversation, βˆ’12%. One tap and it's gone.

Worth knowing

  • Auto-Day is off until it's turned on. Without it nothing drains by itself: no timer started, no event logged β†’ still 100%. Either way, what gets recorded is what someone chose to record.
  • Stopping ends the day, and it stays ended. Only Start resumes it β€” the day will not restart itself.
  • Everything resets at midnight UTC, which is not everyone's midnight. Capacity goes back to 16 hours, and there's no day-to-day history yet.
  • The charge floors at 0% β€” it never goes negative, and it keeps running past empty.

What you can do

  • Auto-Day β€” set your wake time under πŸŒ… Auto-Day and the day starts without you. Off until you turn it on.
  • Start / Stop β€” Start begins spending now; Stop ends the day, including one Auto-Day started for you. After a Stop, only Start resumes it.
  • Log an event β€” tap a chip under Log an Event. Tap πŸ—‘ in Today's Events to undo one; it gives back exactly what it took.
  • Capacity β€” 16 hours isn't a rule. Set what a full day is for you, 1 to 24.
  • Share your link β€” anyone with it sees your charge, your capacity, the hours used and left, whether the timer is running right now, and when that last changed. Not your event list, not past days, and no controls. With Auto-Day on, that timestamp is your wake time, to the minute.
  • Recovery key β€” your only way back in. No email, no password. Lose it, lose the battery.

Save your recovery key

This key is the only way to get your data back on another device or after clearing your browser. Save it somewhere safe and private β€” anyone who has it can open your tracker.
