What we store

• The username you claim — no email, no real name required.
• Your daily battery and session timing data, and the events you log.
• If you use Auto-Day: the wake time you set, plus your time zone — the time zone is read from your browser and saved along with the setting, so you don't have to pick it yourself.
• A single session cookie, used only to keep you signed in. It is essential and does no tracking.
• Your recovery key — stored only as a hash; we cannot read it back.

Your share link

Anyone holding your public link sees your battery level, and nothing else about you. With Auto-Day on, that level starts draining at your wake time — so someone watching the link can work out roughly when your day began. That's the link doing its job, but it's worth knowing before you hand it out. Auto-Day stays off until you switch it on.

What we don't do

No analytics, no ads, no third-party trackers. Your data is not shared with or sold to anyone.

Where it lives

The app is hosted on Hetzner servers in Germany (EU).

Cookies

We set one essential session cookie and nothing else — that's why there is no consent banner.

Data deletion

There is no self-service delete yet. To have your data removed, email team@trackmyenergy.life and we'll delete it.
